We are not:
- A SOA or BPM facilitation product. In fact, many of our products are engineered to complement and enhance the wide variety of SOA, BPM and EAI software packages - optimizing their effectiveness while reducing the effort, investment and risk related to their implementation.
- A development environment or platform. Our products are not engineered to facilitate development effort, but to replace or complement it. In many cases (e.g. the BabelTubes) our products require no coding whatsoever to perform their intended function.
Those of our products that do provide a programming interface (API) do so in standard Java or .NET form with no dependency on third party products or development environments, therefore fitting neatly within your project or organisation's standard development environment.. - A data transformation tool. Our technology does offer facilities for message transformation, routing and processing, specifically tuned for enabling business transactions across disparate applications in real time.
We do not, however, purport to be a fully-featured data transformation and consolidation suite, such as would service contemporary master data management requirements. There are many specialized application suites available for this purpose and, for projects where complex data operations are a requirement, our technology complements such tools very effectively - where real time interoperability is also a requirement. - A workflow engine. Our distributed service managed deployment model is fully compatible with workflow and event driven architecture requirements. However, as with complex data management, workflow is a highly specialized field. In a typical enteprise architecture our technology would interact with at least one specialist workflow engine - usually facilitating real time endpoint interactions.
Why, as a technology firm, are we apparently ignoring these lucrative markets?
Simple: our corporate philosophy is to stay technically and organizationally focused on delivering to our customers the value for which our revolutionary technology was intended, designed and engineered - without compromise.
So, rather than expanding our focus, we continue to strive for continuous improvement in our domain. Our technology and product roadmaps are a coming together of ideas from customer workshops, feedback from our partner network and our own cutting edge research.
That's why we continue to deliver what we like to call "useful" use.
